Details About CREEPSHOW Documentary Sure To Excite Fans

We can all agree that Creepshow is going to be forever awesome, right? The 1982 anthology which paired the writing genius of Stephen King with king of zombies George Romero was a bloody brilliant love letter to pulp magazine and EC Comics. More than that, it delivered to horror fans a fun, scary mashup of iconic horror moments. Everything from a pissed off zombie dad demanding his cake to a fucking ginormous flesh eating Sasquatch to a zillion cockroaches was brought to live in full splendor. You could (and should) argue that outside of the original Dead trilogy, Creepshow marks Romero’s high point as a director.

A new documentary from Synapse Films and Red Shirt pictures celebrates the film with a massive,  “making of” documentary that looks like a real treat for fans. Just Desserts: The Making of CREEPSHOW takes a deep dive into the film, offering a ton of interviews with the principals involved, behind the scenes footage and hours of special bonus features to delve into once you finish the main feature. The film is out on blu ray and DVD July 16th, and here’s what you can expect:
